| So I started at RadioShack today. Yay =)! I think I'm going to like it a lot more than JCPenney. I was actuallying enjoying working at JCPenney for a while. The people were fun, I was getting exercise, and I wasn't cleaning toilets.
I saw "Lady in the Water" today. It was great!
...and thus ends another episode of "As the Jeff Turns."

| It's too freakin' hot. I try not to complain but holy poo it's scorching hot outside! God needs to turn down the sun.
I'm going to be leaving at noon today to go to San Antonio with some friends to the Drum Corps International show (hereafter referenced as "DCI") at the Alamo Dome. How excited am I? Very. That's how much. One of my friends is actually a drum major for the Crossmen. I saw last year's pre-semi-quasi-almost finals show last summer in Murphreesburo, TN when I visited Kami and her sister's family (who are just plain amazing, bee tee double-ewe. They even bought me and Kami our tickets!) I've been out of the DCI scene for quite a while now. I wonder what the shows are gonna be...
In other news, two former music professors from ACU have written a musical and have requested me and another of my peers to perform in it this September... for a hefty sum of money. Yay =)! Danielle also got me a baluga whale hat! It's so cool! I wear it at least once every day =).
I done some growing up lately. Some of you know why... and some of you don't but I would rather not go into detail about it either way. I'm still struggling to understand/grow from/learn from what's happened but if anything good has come out of the situation at all, it's that I feel like I'm starting life anew. I almost feel like I'm a clean slate. It's... interesting to say the least.
Alrighty. I've gotta get ready to go. WEE!

| Okay. So a quick update:
1) Had a huge spike in rent because of the summer's elecricity. Wednesday is my last day of work at JCPenney because they don't pay enough for the hours. I was finally getting used to it, too. I'll be working at RadioShack soon so come and buy a cell phone from me!
2) I'm having the worst composer's block EVER. I feel like such a loser because I can't say what I need to say with my music. So very frustrating.
3) I'd rather not get into it but just when life seems to be looking up... it slaps you back down. I can't wait to get out of this conservative vacuum and into an actual city.
Well folks, that is all for today.

| Okay. It has recently come to my attention that one of the things I must do in life before I die is to write "I'm Naked" in shoe polish on the windshield of my car with an arrow pointing a circle where my head will be when I drive. I'll have to drive around without a shirt on to get the whole effect of it, though.
Just thought I'd clue you in... |
